Vernon was born in Santa Barbara, CA and raised in the Santa Ynez Valley. Soon after high school graduation, he left home and joined the United States Navy to become a Navy SEAL. Upon completing Information Technician School, the Navy’s version of a computer network technician, Vernon finished Navy SEAL training. After training he was assigned to SEAL Team Five in Coronado, CA. Vernon was involved in the planning and execution of many successful combat missions during deployments to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a member of the US Presidential protection detail in Qatar and completed numerous clandestine missions in Africa before separating from the Navy.
After Vernon was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, he worked with his family in San Luis Obispo, CA as a construction project manager for two years while attending college part time. Vernon then decided to become a full time student, so he moved to Santa Barbara, CA. He attended Santa Barbara City College, and then transferred to California State University Channel Islands to study business and economics. Vernon graduated from CSUCI with a BS in Business and a BA in Managerial Economics in December 2008.
Vernon presently resides in Santa Barbara, California and works full-time for jobtrio.com.  In his spare hours he enjoys diving, motorcycle riding, and athletic conditioning.
